Joggers
I love days like this.
I stepped out onto my patio this morning for a little stretch before starting work when I noticed a small group of joggers coming up the road.
I started my stretches as I checked them out, their shorts bouncing in rhythm with their legs, their shirts showing just the hint of sweat.
Then this one guy caught my attention … struggling at the back of the pack, trying to keep up, but slowly falling further back.
I waved at him to come over. He gave one look toward the other joggers fading into the distance, and took me up on my offer. He came over and joined me on the patio. I offered him some juice that he accepted. I watched the way his sweaty neck tightened while swallowing the juice.
One thing led to another, and I offered to give him a ride to the finish line if he gave me a ride. hehe.
We went into the living room and I pulled off his shirt, dropping it right on the floor. I leaned in and smelled his sweat, savoring it.
Well, I can’t tell you too much about what happened unless you call me. I did get him back to the finish line … a little late, but hey … they all expected him to come in last.
